1) Phoenix International Raceway
Phoenix International Raceway, or just PIR, is a one mile tri-oval race track located in Avondale, Arizona. It opened in 1964, as the new home of major open-wheel racing in the Phoenix area, replacing the track at the Arizona State Fairgrounds as an automobile racing venue. It’s fun for the whole family! 2) University of Phoenix Stadium
A great venue for sports, concerts and trade shows, the University of Phoenix Stadium is a multipurpose football stadium located in Glendale, Arizona. It is the home of the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) and the annual Fiesta Bowl. The stadium is located next door to the Jobing.com Arena, where the NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes play, and it features the first fully retractable natural grass playing surface built in the United States on top of an AirField Systems synthetic drainage system. 3) Pebble Creek Golf Course
Pebble Creek is a beautiful and challenging eighteen hole championship golf course featuring a full service Pro Shop, Sports Bar Restaurant and Banquet Facility. 4) Randall McDaniel Sports Complex
Randall McDaniel Sports Complex is Avondale’s new state of the art indoor sports center. Basketball, dodgeball, soccer, volleyball, you name it, you can play it in the comfort of the indoor complex. There are leagues and tournaments as well. In April alone, the arena will host Desert Duel Countdown Tournament and Tournament Time AZ AAU District Championships for boys’ and girls’ basketball.
